President / Co-FounderAfter spending several years in the building industry in New York, James moved to California five years ago to focus on Home Performance Contracting and its application to the growing field of green building. He soon realized the industry needed new solutions to mangage the rapidly growing field, and decided as a result to create Building Solutions. James is a licensed general contractor (Class B and C20) as well as a NARI Certified Green Building Professional (CGBP). James has a B.S. in Business from Cornell University with a concentration in architecture and design. |
NEIL BUCKLEY
VP Technology / Co-FounderBefore founding Building Solutions, Neil worked for various start up software companies managing small development teams in high demand situations. Seeing an opportunity to apply his technical know how to the green sector, he founded Building Solutions as a way to bring innovative technical solutions to the Home Performance industry. He has led the devlopment of Home Performance Pro, a propietary software application that gives both testers and homeowners better tools to understand their home. Neil has a B.A. in Computer Science and History from the University of California, Berkeley. |
LEVI BLANKENSHIP
VP MarketingLevi joined Building Solutions in the spring of 2009, and brings with him a wealth of transferable skills and relevant experiences. Previously dedicated to education and the effort to empower students through knowledge (Teach For America, Sylvan Learning Centers), Levi now aspires to educate homeowners and empower building professionals, architects and realtors with Building Solutions’ series of energy auditing and performance contracting services. With a passion for helping others and a commitment to environmental sustainability, Levi is excited about the opportunity to bring his managerial and marketing skills to the Building Solutions team. Levi has a BA in Anthropology from Cornell University. |
SCOTT LOWERY
Lead TesterScott Lowery has a BS in Environmental Science from Gettysburg College and worked in Africa as an Environmental Education Volunteer in the Peace Corps. Upon returning, Building Solutions was his chosen vehicle to advance mankind. |
